There’s also some progress on our stretch goals, and this week's community poll!

🐸 Announcement: Frog Plush Companion

You asked. We listened. Actually, we didn't even need to listen because we were already thinking about it. Drumroll please...

We're making an official Legends of Akeroth frog plush!

You may have seen him in your demo books, giving out handy tips and tricks throughout your adventure. Now we’re bringing him out of Erwick and into the real world!

This soft, huggable little friend is designed to be your desk companion, journal guardian, and silent witness to all your heroic adventures! Whether it's watching you roll the dice or just being adorably present while you write about your hero's journey, this frog is here for it all.

The plush will be available for all backers when we go live in February and we are so excited for you to get your hands on him! This frog is going to look so hopping good on your shelf, so don’t miss out when we launch!

Your journey through Akeroth is about to expand in ways we're incredibly excited to share. But first, if you haven't experienced Demo 3 yet, now's the perfect time.




✨ Demo 3: Friends in Shimin

In case you haven't jumped in yet, Demo 3: Friends in Shimin expands the Solo Adventure and introduces an entirely new way to experience encounters: Zoned Combat!

Instead of tracking squares on a grid, Zoned Combat divides the battlefield into three distinct zones:

Allied Zone: Your side's backline or safe zone
Clash: The contested middle area where fighters engage
Enemy Zone: The opposing side's backline

When both sides share a zone, that zone becomes an Active Battle - the hotspot where the action happens.
This system is designed for faster encounters, better solo and duet play, narrative positioning, and easier enemy tracking. Your tactical decisions shift from counting squares to making meaningful choices about where you position yourself and when you move between zones. It's streamlined, intuitive, and keeps the focus on the heroic action rather than measuring distances.

Friends in Shimin is your chance to see how this new combat system works in practice and experience more of Akeroth's world.

We have hit our next milestone, which means we've officially unlocked the full fold-out map of Erwick inside the physical book! And for those of you who are backing us digitally, never fear! You will be receiving a high quality PDF version of the map for all your adventuring needs!

We are very close to unlocking the Legends of Akeroth Soundtrack on multiple platforms! It is already something that will be included in the campaign but this goal will allow us to make it available in more places.
